Affiliate disclosure

How we link to products today

Ask Melia isn't part of any affiliate program yet. Every product link on the site is one of these, and each is labelled by its button:

• Explore product: stays on Ask Melia, on our own product page.
• Visit official brand: an ordinary link to the brand's own website.
• View at [retailer]: an ordinary link to an authorised retailer. We earn nothing from it.

If we join an affiliate program, approved tracking links will say Shop at [retailer] and carry a disclosure next to them. Paid placements will say Sponsored.

Links that may earn a commission in future

Ask Melia may join affiliate programs run by retailers and affiliate networks. When you click one of those links and buy, the retailer may pay us a percentage of the sale. You pay the same price. Affiliate links are marked with a note nearby, and are tagged so search engines know they are commercial.

Until a program approves us, links on the site go to a search or a retailer page, with no commission.

How Melia chooses

The consultations recommend products from your answers and from product attributes. Commission rates are not part of that logic, and we don't remove a good option because it earns nothing.

Sponsored content

If a brand pays us or gives us products for a feature, that content will be labelled "Sponsored" or "In partnership with" at the top, and on social media with the platform's paid-partnership label. Sponsored placements are kept separate from the consultation results.

Prices and availability

We only show a price when we have checked it, with the date we checked. Prices, stock and offers change, so check the retailer's page before you buy, and buy from an authorised seller. Ask Melia doesn't sell products and isn't responsible for a retailer's products, delivery or returns.
